The panel participation for attendees is drop in, and available at the following times: It will be available at /trivia or by visiting /comic-con. Virtual trivia will be on demand, with launches at the listed times and remaining open until 6 p.m. with 80s sci-fi movies, followed by noon “Jurassic Park” trivia, 2 p.m. “It began when staff saw great overlap in interest in popular culture and materials offered by the library, so we wanted to try to find a way to highlight our collections like board games, video games, comics and graphic novels, all while making it as accessible and community oriented as the rest of the library is,” McWhinnie said.
The 2021 event was virtual, but Comic Con returns to the library with in-person events this year. CMPL Teen Services Specialist Colleen McWhinnie said that the library has hosted a comic con since 2017, and has held one each year since with the exception of 2020. The Main Library is located at 40900 Romeo Plank in Clinton Township. The Clinton-Macomb Public Library (CMPL) will host a free Comic Con event, starting at 10 a.m. 13, when the library hosts its CMPL Comic Con event.
